Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe is an American country music artist and singer. She was in 2007 when she had released two singles and an album titled Satisfied. She then formed an Pistol Annies group with Angaleena Lambert, Miranda Lambert and Angaleena. The group later debuted her second studio album entitled Like a Rose. She was five years serving as deputy city manager in Iowa City. Her current duties as Assistant Village Manager are to oversee the operation of the Community Development and Building Department managing grants, as well as completing specific projects. Ashley is responsible for managing the operations and activities of Riverside Village and also for implementing the strategy and vision of elected officials. Ashley's previous positions included municipal planning, government communications and budgeting. She also managed personnel and collective negotiations. Additionally, she was involved in climate action. Ashley has the ability to draw on her experience working in a variety of communities and national organizations. She also has gained insight in the ways the public sector operates. Ashley's class concentrates on leadership, management and public administration as seen from the perspective of a practicing practitioner.
